White Pine County : Beef Sticks for Backpacks
Since 2011, the Committee Against Child Hunger (CACH) has been changing lives—one backpack at a time.
It all started when local residents learned the heartbreaking truth: many children in our community were leaving school for the weekend and not eating a full meal again until Monday morning.
So, they decided to do something about it. They banded together, rallied support, collected donations, and started packing and sending backpacks full of nonperishable food home with kids for the weekend. And they’ve been doing it every single week since.
Thanks to the unwavering support of our community, CACH now provides backpacks to 250 local kids every single week. That’s 250 children who are no longer going hungry. 250 children who can focus on learning, playing, and growing.
Now, we’re inviting you to be part of this impact.
For every beef stick you purchase, we’ll match and donate one to the CACH program.
That’s one more nutrient dense snack in a child’s backpack.
You buy it. You enjoy it. You make a difference. We take care of the rest.
Thank you!!
If you would like to make a monetary donation to the CACH program, checks can be made out to the following:
