Want to fill your freezer? You can purchase a custom cut half or whole steer or heifer.

How does it work?

1) Call us at 775-296-2367, or email us at perigohaycattle@gmail.com, and let us know that you’re interested in either a half or whole animal.

2) We’ll give you a butcher date. (We do have a waitlist, so make sure to call ahead.)

3) A couple weeks before your butcher date, we will email you a cut sheet to fill out, so the animal is cut how you want. Once you get the cut sheet filled out, send it back to us.

4) On your butcher date, we will take the animal to the butcher.

5) It takes about 3 weeks to process the animal. At which point, we will pick up the meat. (Please do not call the butcher, we handle all communication for you.)

6) Once we have the meat picked up, we’ll call you to arrange pick up or delivery. If you live in Ely, we will deliver it to your house. If you are coming from out of town, it is your responsibility to pick up the meat from our facility.

7) You can pay for the beef at time of delivery/pick up. Pricing includes the beef + all processing costs.
